Accelerated Reader Program
We have purchased Accelerated Reader for next year which will align us with Pioneer Middle School. In addition we can make reading activities more effective for every student. In order to facilitate this change, we will need at least 10 parents to assist us in re-labeling library materials from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Monday, May 21st-Wednesday, May 23rd. Please contact Ladera's new Librarian, Emily Otis, to volunteer.

All 3rd through 5th graders are eligible to attend. Spaces are limited. Click HERE to register or pick up a registration form at Ladera's front office. The deadline to register is May 31st. Ladera's 2012 Quad Math Competition
In previous years the district held a yearly Quad Math competition involving all our elementary schools. While this program has been cancelled, Ladera will be holding our second annual Ladera Quad Math Competition on Friday, May 25th. The competition will feature two teams comprised of both fourth and fifth graders. With so many exceptional mathematicians at Ladera, it will be exciting to give them the opportunity to highlight their skills as members of the Ladera Math Team! Please contact Miss Sommers with questions.
